This is a great beach with lots parking. In recent years, new development has altered the area surrounded the beach and also altered access but this beach is still great to visit for locals and tourists. From the parking lot, the beach itself is not visible, there are three ways you can take to access it, from the left side, right side, or right down the middle via a path that leads through the housing development.

Strands Beach has restrooms at the parking lot and also down below at the beach on the left and right side which also has drinking fountains and showers to rinse off. This beach doesn't get too crowded but during high tides the beach gets very narrow which will limit the space in which people have to lay out on the sand. This beach is handicapped accessible via a tram/funicular that holds up to 8 people at a time and is free to the public.
