Carbon Canyon
You most likely did not know that the largest grove of sequoia trees in Southern California lies here in Carbon Canyon Regional Park, these trees were introduced to see if they would successfully grow this far South after a bank donated seeds to the county. These sequoias also known as coastal redwoods are up to about 100 feet tall here which is only 1/4 of their height in Northern California where they are the tallest living things on Earth.
Also in Carbon Canyon is a small lake which you can fish from its 2 docks. Other activities include tennis, mountain biking, hiking, and just relaxing among the beautiful scenery here. It really is a great place for everyone.
