Laguna Beach
Crescent Bay Point Park
This is one of the local hidden gems, right off Pacific Coast Highway but tucked between a residential area. This is a small but great park with a nicely manicured grass lawn and viewpoints that reach out on a cliff overlooking the ocean and Crescent Bay Beach. During April and May, you can easily spot migrating gray whales on their journey from Mexico to Alaska, they're migrating in the winter months but during these two months is when the mothers are coming up with their babies which are the last ones to go North and as they do, they hug the coastline for navigating and safety.
