Orange
Santiago Oaks Regional Park
This is one of those parks in Orange County that many people have not visited mostly because it's tucked away behind a residential area and you will only see it if you actually seek it out, that is a definitely a plus as it tends to be less crowded and well worth visiting. The main park area itself is a lot smaller than Irvine Regional Park and is basically one parking area centrally located close to the restrooms, picnic areas, park, hiking trails, and nature center. The hiking trails sprawl out over a large area which you can spend a while on. Some of the trail cross and follow alongside Santiago Creek which occasionally has water in it.
